Will sand and salt water harm the film?
No. DURAFLEX is a tough polyurethane film designed to take far more than a coastal kitchen throws at it, and grit simply wipes away. The stone underneath stays sealed and protected.
My household is hectic. Is the film low maintenance?
Completely. After the install there is nothing to reapply or buff, and everyday cleaning is a wipe with a soft cloth. It is genuinely zero maintenance.
Does it work on a marble-look engineered bench?
Yes. The film protects engineered stone, quartzite and porcelain as well as natural marble, and it reads invisibly on every one.
Can kids and acidic snacks really not etch it?
Correct. Citrus, soft drinks and sauces all contact the film rather than the polish, so the surface never etches. Minor surface marks self-heal with warmth.

Will I be able to see or feel it?
No. It’s optically clear and ultra-thin, so the stone looks exactly the same. Customers love the satin feel of our ULTRA Satin-X film (if that’s what you’re into).
Does it actually stop stains and etching?
DURAFLEX is completely non porous, meaning spills don’t stand a chance. Wine, coffee, oil and citrus wipe away completely, protecting the stone from etching and staining.
