Protection above the sealer

Penetrating sealers fill the pore structure of the stone and slow liquid absorption. They operate inside the stone, below the polished surface. Etching occurs at the surface, where acids react with calcium carbonate crystals in the marble polish. DURAFLEX operates above the surface, above the sealer, intercepting acids at the film layer. The marble never encounters the acid. The reaction cannot occur.

DURAFLEX for Hamilton stone

DURAFLEX SPF Ultra is optically clear and self-healing against minor contact marks from cutlery and daily use. The stone’s finish and veining are unchanged. The film does not yellow, does not require reapplication, and does not degrade over time. A DURAFLEX-protected surface in year ten looks the same as it did in year one.

Single-visit, heat sealed installation

Every DURAFLEX installation is completed in a single visit by an automotive-trained technician and heat sealed on completion. The kitchen is in normal use the same day. The 10-year warranty begins immediately.
