DURAFLEX SPF Ultra is a physical barrier film, not a penetrating sealer. It sits above the stone surface and is not affected by ambient humidity or salt air in the way that pore-filling sealers are. The protection it provides is consistent from installation day through year ten.

Invisible protection for Noosa stone

The film is optically clear and undetectable at normal viewing distances. It absorbs approximately five percent of visible light. The finish and veining of the stone are unchanged. The self-healing topcoat recovers minor surface marks from cutlery and daily contact. What changes is that the benchtop no longer etches, no longer stains, and no longer requires specialist maintenance to keep it looking original.
